About Vista Career Solutions

Originally from India, Lalu Paul has been working in Ireland for more than 12 years, combining employment as a qualified addiction worker with his role as director at Vista Career Solutions. Having identified an opportunity for overseas healthcare professionals to expand their career potential in Europe over a decade ago, he went on to build a company which specialised in making this happen.

Although working in both addiction services and recruitment for many years, in 2020 he decided to focus solely on his overseas recruitment role.

A qualified social worker, Lalu also holds professional qualifications in philosophy and economics.

Responsible for general business development at Vista Career Solutions, along with client relations, marketing and quality assurance, Alina has a wealth of experience within both the healthcare and recruitment sectors. Her specialist areas subsequently include client relations and overseas recruitment, where she excels in building and maintaining positive client relationships,matching employers with the most suitable candidates for their organisations.

Having joined Vista Career Solutions in 2019, Alina previously spent eight years working in recruitment and HR in Ireland, which included a role as Recruitment and HR Manager for one of Ireland’s leading nursing home groups.She also has five years’ experience within the healthcare sector, having worked in Healthcare Management in America, where she managed a range of Adult Family Homes (small nursing homes).

Overseeing the day-to-day running of the India office, Merlin manages 24 employees and ensures that all company processes are followed in relation tocandidate registration, planning and relocation.

With more than 11 years’ experience in healthcare recruitment, Merlin has been working as overseas career manager at Vista Career Solutions since 2018. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in English, along with a B Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering and is currently completing an MBA (Master of Business Administration).

Merlin’s previous roles include working as a recruitment consultant for Camino Healthcare, which involved recruiting Malaysian nurses to Singapore, as well as organising nursing council registrations, interviews and handling all associated documents. She therefore has a lot of experience in helping nurses relocate to another country, skills which she now uses to assist the clients at Vista Career Solutions.

Regina is responsible for coordinating the recruitment of all non-Indian candidates and is actively involved in the screening process, ensuring that each candidate is matched with the most appropriate employer.

With three decades of nursing experience and various nursing awards to her name, Regina has held the roles of staff nurse, charge nurse, acting head and head nurse over the years. Her wealth of nursing expertise is subsequently invaluable in her role at Vista Career Solutions, where she uses her skills and knowledge to support job-seekers in their search for the ideal position and employers for their preferred candidates.

Regina previously completed a Pre-Degree at the University of Calicut in Kerala, India, before going on to achieve a Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery at the Princes Esin School of Nursing in Hyderabad, India. She also holds a B. SN. (Post Basic) in Nursing from the Nethaji College of Nursing in Mangalore, India. Her nursing awards include those in recognition for her contributions to the OR, as well as for leadership within nursing and in her roles as charge and head nurse.

Currently employed as a staff nurse in the acute surgical ward at Connolly Hospital, Dublin, Smitha also previously spent three months as a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) at Beaumont Hospital.

She is currently completing her Post-graduate Diploma in Advanced Leadership and holds a Master’s Degree in Nursing, along with a Level 9 NFQ Master of Science in Nursing Major from the University College, Dublin. She also previously achieved a Level 8 NFQ Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the S R M College of Nursing in Chennai, India (The Tamil Nadu Dr M.G.R Medical University).

Along with her hospital nursing experience, Smitha has held roles in a nursing care home in Dublin and in the medical surgical ward at St John’s Medical College and Hospital in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.
