A Chartered Fellow of the Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) Theresa has over 35 years industry HR experience with 20 years at a senior level (HR Director/Head of HR) in private, voluntary and public sector companies. She has worked extensively with companies in health and nursing hoine care as well as charities, transport, logistics, retail, manufacturing, trading, property and hospitality among others She has significant experience in non-union environments as well as unionised environments. Theresa’s most recent roles have been within the nursing home industry and included a number of due diligence projects and the consequent Integration of new teams and cultures into an established organisation
Theresa's experience covers all aspects of the employment relationship including, but not limited to, strategy, industrial relations, recruitment, mediation, mentoring, training and development, documentation, equality and diversity, bullying and harassment, employee communication, discipline and large scale redundancies. Theresa has aho worked successfully with clients who have had dealings with the WRC. Throughout her career, she has been an active member of a variety of working parties with hoth a commercial and a peaple management focus
Theresa holds a first class honours degree in Industrial Relations and Personnel Management: from the National College of industrial Relations (now NCI), a first class MA in Women's Studies from University College Cork and a MSc in Research in Applied Social Science. She aho holds qualifications in Alternative Dispute Resolution from Notre Dame Law School, Facilitation skills from Management Centre Europe and Human Resources Strategy from Cranfield University among others
